I don’t get it.

The only people that will get it are Six Feet Under fans .

Wow… the last 5 minutes of it had me dumbstruck. I was in full mourning for the remainder of the night. Can you imagine seeing your life that way?!??!???! AND I love that song…

Ya, I lay awake in bed thinking about the show for a long time… and I was asking myself, if I could see my life that way, would I?? I couldn’t answer myself. The part of those 5 minutes that got me the most was poor Keith. The rest I could deal with because they go on to live long, happy lives. A happily ever after ending if I ever saw one, only it wasn’t corny, or smug, or sappy. And if a show (and it’s characters) deserved to end happy, it was that one.

I wonder, T, if you aren’t the only person I’ve ever known who actually liked Rico. Which was your favorite death? I liked David.

Dawn () @ 08/23/2005 16:33:
I liked Rico too. I dunno. Claire’s death I think might have been my favorite- you know seeing and laying witness even with her glaucoma…and Keith…yeah. But on the brightside- he was running his own business and had lived to see his sons grow..I just loved it all…

Man I wish I had seen the show! I have never seen one episode. Working night shift really limits my TV watching, but I would love to know the significance of the crow.

Tina – you can rent the first few seasons of Six Feet Under – and you really, really should. The premise of the show is about a family-owned funeral home in Los Angeles – the father dies and the two sons take over. You will never, ever experience more complex characters, or such ingenius writing than with SFU.

Taylor () @ 08/24/2005 16:06:
SFU was a very good show, no doubt, but it was a little pretentious at times. There’s probably a little too much drama in these characters lives.. .but hey it wouldn’t have been as enjoyable if their experiences were as average as their character.Easily one of the best series ever on TV. And it finished strong, which is good because last season was wavering for sure.

For your comments during this season, I assume by ‘last season’ you mean the season before the final one?

Coming to the party six years too late… my favourite death was definitely Brenda’s! The song during the final scene was “Breathe Me” by Sia. Yay.
