Imported Underwear
When my sister got married last October I received as a gift from her some underwear to add to my ever growing collection. The first pair was a soft pale pink lace, the other a deep purple cottony-spandex. Both were a boyshort cut, and as much as I liked the pink ones, I ADORED the purple ones. They very quickly rocketed to the top of my underwear list, and it’s a good day when I open my underwear drawer and find them freshly laundered and ready to wear.

This evening, as I was climbing the stairs to go to bed, I discovered a padded envelope sitting on the fifth stair. Not expecting any mail I curiously peeked at it and recognized Jody’s handwriting. I tore open the envelope to discover not one but TWO pairs of underwear similiar in cut to my purple pair (these are a little fancier – they’re a satiny spandex material, one pair is black, the other a rosy pink).

Receiving new underwear in the mail is MUCH better than finding new pens in the supply cupboard – my very thoughtful sister made my day! I love HER!

(I slipped the undies on over my current ones, and I’m pleased to report that I see a very nice relationship working out between me and the new additions to my underwear family).
